This ring is made with large dot Superconductor which is made up of many highly conductive Titanium-Niobium alloy rods, which are then insulated by copper and formed into a large cable. This material is used for exactly what the name states, superconductors, that are capable of transferring electricity without energy loss under certain conditions used in machines such as MRI's and particle accelerators!
