Mokume is a “damascus” made up of brass, copper and nickel and will develop a patina over time. As shown is a full mirror polished finish but can also be done with a matte or semi polished finish!

The antique linear paper micarta is a tight stacked look with spread out “eyes” on either side of the ring as the material stretches out the layers.
